It is Christmas!  With all my wishes for a blessed Christmas and all the cheer you can muster with your family and friends, I hope you will all remember the reason for all of this.  It is the founding day of the Christian religion.  The birth of the Son of God in Bethlehem.  It is also the anniversary of a harrowing event in our America history.  It is equally important to remember this and the kind of people who gave us the RIGHT to worship as we believe, we must remember the great sacrifice and struggle which forged our nation.  We have a great nation and a great heritage which is currently being stolen from our children.  I hope that you will find today's message worth a half hour of your day today.  It is truly dramatic and inspiring.  There is perhaps no better time to tell this story.

The joy of Christmas returns. Things to do. Places to go. Gifts to buy. Few are immune from the Christmas rush as the season marches forward in an unrelenting cadence. Take time, make time, to pause and reflect on the depth of the celebration amid the hustle and bustle. A story, a poem, a song inspires the Christmas spirit.

In our post-modern era as Christianity slowly wanes, a Biblical meaning of Christmas pleads to be told. Browsing through some old Christmas sermons, one in particular registered as representative of times past when people embraced their Christianity more seriously than they do today. Or so it seems. An old volume (1903) titled “Holy-days and Holidays” contained a succinct sermon written in the late 1800s by David Gregg, DD.

His quest? Where was Christ before Christmas? My interpretation?

One of the things my grandmother used to say which has always stuck with me is "It's better to light a candle than to curse the darkness."  Our free press is the light we need.  More and more we find that light being snuffed out.  Censorship is one of our biggest issues right now.  And we can see what effect it is having on our inability to communicate with one another and to find out the truth.  One of the foremost seekers of truth in the West is Ezra Levant.  Right now he is struggling.

Last week the big news was that the C****-*9 vaccine is out and enroute.  While this has been a miraculous achievement, we need to remember that it has not been tested.  The demand for instant remedies for the Chinese virus did not allow for a testing phase.  There may well be a greater chance of dying of the vaccine than of the disease.  We will have to see.  In the meantime no one should take this against their will or wishes and no one should vaccinate children.  There are some red flags flapping wildly here.  Our economy and our social fabric have been largely destroyed by the response to this virus.  Now we are expected to donate our bodies for medical research.  No, thanks.  It is finally time to draw the line.

This is the last Sunday before Christmas this year.  It sort of crept up on me!  This week, a few thoughts for the holiday, what it means, how we might celebrate in these times, a look ahead with hope for the future.  I hope you enjoy the music at the end.

If you thought you were a business owner a few months ago, right now you might be lucky to be taking orders from bureacrats who never did a day's real work in their life. If you thought you had a steady job a few months ago, now you're probably collecting unemployment. (But for how long?) You're both wondering how much longer this can last. You don't need to be up on your Milton Friedman to know the economic situation you're in is untenable. And yet, everywhere you go, you are told to tighten your belt and "we're all in this together" while the politicicans and unelected "experts" telling you this are living fat off the land. You're supposed to swallow that your present penury is "due to Covid 19" and go along. "Just two weeks to flatten the curve." "Four more weeks and we can get this thing under control." So how long are you supposed to knuckle under till you can live a normal life again? When the vaccine is out? You're angry, frustrated and anxious, perhaps living one day to the next, afraid to look up, afraid to look ahead, hoping this will all just go away.  But it won't - until you understand what sort of people are up-ending your life, and for what purpose.  

Christmas ‘tis the season for giving! What better way to say “I love you” than with the gift of a book? The only prerequisite for the recipient is that they possess an intellect imbued with curiosity.

Of course, readers do not share the same taste in books. The following suggestions come from my own library and are meant to be edifying and not inconsequential.

The subject is China. Interest in China skyrocketed since President Trump broke the globalist mold and engaged China on trade and military issues. What should peak even greater interest, if the major media would cover it, involves China’s placement of spies in a never-ending intelligence gathering effort.

Those who have been watching closely the strange developments of our current election crisis have been expecting this, but in spite of that, last night's quiet and matter-of-fact announcement comes with a breathtaking drama.  Those who have bought into the media's narrative and have been accepting the term "President-Elect Biden" might find it a shock, however.  We have never "been here" before in our nation's history.  There has been nothing about the year 2020 which we would have predicted.  It is still too early to predict what will happen and who will be our president for the next four years.  "Interesting times" doesn't begin to describe this.

“People who cannot be reasoned with can only be fought.” It’s an age-old truth, one good people ignore at their own peril. It too often is ignored, though, since good people are mostly reasonable and, in accordance with man’s nature, engage in projection. They thus assume that others are as reasonable as they are.

It’s reasonable to assume that mentioning right now the futility of reasoning with the Left is motivated by the election. It’s also, in my case, untrue. I’ve for decades recognized that devout leftists, emotion-driven and vice-ridden, operate by occultist Aleister Crowley’s “principle,” “Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.” But now, with the Left stealing an election after have stolen our whole culture and increasingly achieving its ends through violence, more people may accept this message.

Our social media is every bit as bad as the old MSM.  We need to support alternatives (Parler and Rumble, etc.).  In the meantime, please use your own contacts to spread information.  The silencing of the people and the cotrolling of our formerly free press, is a huge part of destroying our country.  Stalin would be the first to teach us the importance of controlling the means of communication - it is essential if a people is to be subjugated.  If we are to remain free we need to do everything we can to overcome and thwart this control.  We are living in a time of war in our own country - this is a fact, not hyperbole.  

As we struggle through the longest election season in anyone's living memory, some are beginning to despair that we can solve the matter and - also importantly - repair the damage this election has caused.  One party has decided it was worth it to destroy the nation just to drag their comatose candidate across the finish line.  They pulled out every stop.  The organ is crashing through the sound barrier now.  People, driven by the knowledge that this was by no means an honest election, have reached the breaking point.  We'd better all pray for America.

The 2020 election decided how the United States would be governed. It was a referendum on the interests of the Ruling Class versus the Country Class. In other words, those of the perpetual political class and their sycophants who comprise the Washington, DC swamp against the rest of us.

A poem by Scots poet Robert Burns (1759-1796) repeatedly comes to mind. It appears below. A few Scottish/Gaelic words have been altered to render the poem a bit more intelligible.

We are becoming a nation of hypochondriacs and sheep that need to be told what to do.  We have to change our attitude about this.  We need to take responsibility for our own health decisions, our own business decisions, our own lives.  Allowing governnment to step in to "take care of us" has been an unqualified disaster.  We need to take these decisions back.  We are perfectly capable of deciding when or whether to close our businesses, to stay home if we are sick or to go to work when we are well.

Republicans are known best for one thing - attacking each other.

Today we mourn and remember Dr. Walter E. Williams—economist, teacher, cultural commentator, and, most importantly, devoted husband, loving father, and friend. You read that right.  My new title is "President-Elect" and it might as well be yours, too!  We need to address the climate of threats in our political and business life in America today.  It is wholly un-American and it nearly always emanates from the left.  You might be afraid to put a sign in your yard or wear a MAGA hat.  Maybe you don't take a client if you are afraid it isn't politically correct enough.  Fear is beginning to be the driving force.  It NEEDS TO STOP.

Halloween and its candy has passed. Thanksgiving with all its scrumptious food went into the history books. Christmas and New Year’s feasting lie ahead. How are you set for calories? Acquiring more than you can burn? Weight gain through the Holiday Season becomes a problem for many.

Need motivation? Visualize this. A four-stick package of butter weighs one pound. Imagine carrying several packages of butter around your waist. Get the idea? Not good!

Do you live to eat, or eat to live? Poor eating habits reflect unrestrained indulgence, possibly a lack of self-discipline, or both.

Leaders’ increasing exhibition of blatant hypocrisy is also a sign of a declining republic. In a healthy one, this is less possible because politicians are held accountable. But to whatever degree a pseudo-elite establishment places itself beyond voter discipline (e.g., via rigged elections), it can in the same proportion place itself beyond the voters’ government-imposed burdens.

Megalomaniacs will never stop exercising irrational control over you because control is the goal, an end unto itself. They inflict their torments not just with the approval of their own consciences, but at the urging of their most animalistic desires.

America used to be known as "a nation of laws, not of men".  Those days are gone.  Our resurrection as a great nation depends upon our return to that philosophy.  We have fallen into lawlessness in all areas because we have tolerated it when we thought we could wink at it.  As the summer has taught us, this is no joke.  Our recklessness may have cost us our most precious asset - the consent of the governed.  For there is no consent if there is no fair election.  A stolen election means government without consent.  Think about that.

Rockwell had a vision of America which, although some of us were lucky enough to live seems today but a sweet memory.  It might be the way to go now, though.  In a nation torn apart by everything from disease to mob violence to massive fraud, perhaps it is time we took a look at the America of our youth and childhood, a time which, with all its obvious imperfection, was one of human scale life.  It was really difficult to choose which images to share, but it doesn't matter - you should really search for some more anyway.  Maybe you remember far enough back to even have a favorite.  Please take time out today and get grounded in the real heart and soul of America.  I think it still might be there if we only look for it.

The past few days have focused attention on the insane behavior and "mandates" and "bans" of governors throughout the nation.  They are all behaving like escapees from a mental institution, people with grandiose delusions of grandeur.  It you think they are odd, think about the people who follow their orders!  Today, following a most delightful Thanksgiving celebration - best in years, in fact - I thought I would send some more information for the governors of the two states which most closely affect my family, North Dakota and Minnesota.  I strongly urge you to join me in communicating with them.  Paraphrase, if you like, from my letter to them.  Send them your thoughts.  Write to as many governors as you like.  

Our masters - power-mad nutjobs like Governor Tim Walz, Governors Whitmer, Cuomo, Hogan, Newsom, Wolf and many others, have decided to rob us of Thanksgiving.  And they will if we let them.  It's kind of up to us whether we want to be victims of an armed robbery or not.  The so-called "pandemic" is being used for the same purpose our schools have been - to destroy our social fabric, our family units, our culture.  They will if we let them prevail.  Maybe this is the time to lay down the law to THEM.  Some ethical and principled (and realistic) law enforcement personnel, sheriffs and police, are refusing to play the game.  Good for them.  Florida's Governor de Santis went one better - he is blocking mayors and local officials from trying to enforce mask "mandates".  We need more like him.

We live with and are infected by many types of coronaviruses. Coronaviruses were first identified in the mid-1960s and are known to cause the common cold (viruses 229E and OC43). Other forms of the coronavirus include MERS-CoV (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome) and SARS-CoV (severe acute respiratory syndrome). NL63 causes upper and lower respiratory tract infections as well as bronchiolitis (not the same as bronchitis). The HKU1 coronavirus also produces upper respiratory infections leading to pneumonia.

For whatever it is worth in calming the paranoia of the pandemic, remember this. The ten worst pandemics in history were far worse than the COVID-19 pandemic today. Included in the worst were the 1968-1970 Hong Kong flu (H3N2) and the 1918 Spanish flu.

It is said we get what we are willing to put up with.  So - what is our limit?  We went along with cancelling Easter, remember, and Mothers' Day, Fathers' Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Veterans' Day, too, was shut down for most, at least as to public events.  Now it is Thanksgiving.  In most of our states we have some petty dictator from Ruritania waving decrees around to restrict us, making everything normal in life illegal.  It can't go on this way.  These ridiculous, puffed-up potentates need to be taken down more than a few pegs.  In many jurisdictions, police and sheriffs hae outright refused to participate in these illegal decrees and the enforcement of them.  Good for them.  

Have former president Jimmy Carter and the CIA been “picking winners and losers” of elections in foreign countries to forward the cause of a “one world order”? Have Democrats and even some Republicans used dishonest means to win elections?  If such were true, it would explain the hesitance of CIA directors (the consummate “deep state”) of the last two decades in not properly investigating the hardware and software used for our own elections.
